Gansu Chamber of Commerce USA in COVID-19 outbreak

In 2020 when all even virus is globalized, everything is so unprepared. Many overseas Chinese have experienced the peak of the outbreak in both China and the USA. And more overseas Chinese communities have experienced that they found themselves were in an awkward situation of lacking medical materials after having sent those materials back to China.

From its coming into existence to the present, I had never expected the Gansu General Chamber of Commerce USA to be published in this way. On behalf of all my colleagues in the Gansu General Chamber of Commerce USA, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this donation. All materials arrived safely in Lanzhou, Gansu, and were received by the Red Cross. They were distributed to the Second Hospital of the University of Lanzhou and the Pulmonary Hospital. Although it was a bit late, this was also a contribution made by our overseas people to our hometown. Chairman Hao Dandan said.

Unexpectedly, soon in Los Angeles, where the community is located, a nationwide outbreak has caused a serious shortage of medical supplies in the US. "We live here, so here is also our hometown." To give back to the community and establish a positive image of the Chinese, during the outbreak of COVID-19, with the donation of Rev. Peter Wang, organized by Mr. Lin Xu and executed by Chairman Hao Dandan, the Gansu CC USA donated Medical KN95 Masks again to San Gabriel Hospital, Walnut Cityhall and Moreno Valley Cityhall to fight the outbreak. Councilmember of San Gabriel Qinho Liao, Mayor of Walnut city Andrew Rodriguez, Councilmember of Walnut city Wu Lilun, Senior administrative assistants of Moreno Valley Mike Lee and Tyler Smith, etc. attended the donation activity. Moreno Valley Cityhall, Walnut Cityhall, and San Gabriel Hospital accepted the donations.

Hao Dandan explained that as Chinese living in the USA, it is our second home. At present, all the world is fighting the COVID-19 outbreak. Our American Chinese should dedicate love in our communities. This time the Commerce donated a total of 1,100 KN95 masks, including 500 to San Gabriel Hospital, 300 to Walnut Cityhall, and 300 to Moreno Valley Cityhall, to serve community residents better.

This donation was warmly welcomed by the San Gabriel Hospital, the Walnut Cityhall, and the Moreno Valley Cityhall. They thanked the Chinese community for their love and hope everyone will work together to overcome difficulties.
